The School-Based Decision Making (SBDM) Council at Garrett Morgan Elementary School plays an essential role in shaping the policies, procedures, and priorities that guide our work. Rooted in Kentucky’s SBDM model, our council brings together teachers, parents, and administrators to make collaborative decisions that support student achievement, school improvement, and a positive learning environment.
Through this shared leadership structure, the council develops and approves policies related to curriculum, instruction, school climate, and resource allocation—ensuring that decisions are made with students at the center.
Meeting agendas, minutes, and policy documents are available here to promote transparency and community engagement. We invite our families and community partners to stay informed and connected as we continue building the foundation for our wolf pack success.
All meetings begin at 4:00 PM in the Garrett Morgan Elementary School Library and Media Center.
